The Governor of AL- Anbar welcome the representative of UNFPA- Iraq and the President of the United Iraqi Medical Society for Relief & Development .

The Governor of Anbar, Dr. Ali Farhan Al-Dulaimi,welcome Dr. Rita Columbia, representative of the United Nations Population Fund in Iraq, and Dr. Ahmed Al-heety, President of the United Iraqi Medical Society, where a joint cooperation agreement was signed between the governorate and UNFPA for future projects in the field of women’s empowerment and gender-based violence programs at the headquarters county office,
The Governor praised the role of international organizations and the United Iraqi Medical Society in supporting the file of stability in the liberated areas, and their active participation in campaigns for the reconstruction of areas destroyed as a result of the military and terrorist operations in the province.

As part of the visit of the representative of the United Nations Population Fund, the project of rehabilitating the youth hostel in Anbar Governorate, which is supported by the Fund and implemented by the United Iraqi Medical Society for Relief and Development, was reviewed. Dr. Ahmed Al-Hiti, the distinguished role played by the Fund through supporting programs for women, youth and reproductive health in the governorate, as well as the governorate’s role in facilitating obstacles to the continued implementation of programs that serve the Anbari citizen.
