The head of the United Iraqi Medical Society for Relief and Development(UIMS) meets with the General Director of the Non-Governmental Organizations Department.

Dr. Ahmed Mushrif Al-Heeti, President of the United Iraqi Medical Society for Relief and Development (UIMS), met Mr. Ashraf Al-Dahan, General Director of the Non-Governmental Organizations Department in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers today, Wednesday 3/17/2021, at the department’s headquarters, where Al-Heeti congratulated Mr. Ashraf Al-Dahan on his assumption of the new position. As a General Director of the Non-Governmental Organizations Department, during the meeting discussed the latest developments in the health, relief, and developmental level in Iraq, as Al-Dahan praised the great efforts made by our organization in various sectors, health, educational, relief, and protection sector, as well as its pioneering role in the national campaign to combat COVID19 and its prevention. He expressed the department’s readiness and support for all non-governmental organizations operating in Iraq to implement their humanitarian programs.
