Tender Announcement (1) 2026 For Supply of Laboratory Medical Devices and Equipment (Request for Quotations)

The United Iraqi Medical Society for Relief and Development (UIMS) announces its intention to invite qualified companies and specialized offices to submit quotations for the supply of laboratory medical devices and equipment (Country of Origin: China) under the project:

“Supporting Health Institutions with Medical Devices and Equipment”

Required Items and Specifications:

1. HP-AFS/1 Automated Immunoassay Analyzer
   Quantity: 35 devices
   Each device must be supplied with: 1,000 HbA1c tests
2. Palm F Device
   Quantity: 150 devices
   Each device must be supplied with: 100 tests
3. ISTAR 500 Device
   Quantity: 15 devices
   Each device must be supplied with: 1,000 Hormone/Thyroid tests

Terms and Requirements:

• The company must be officially registered and have proven experience in supplying medical equipment.
• Submission of a detailed technical and financial offer including specifications, delivery period, and warranty terms.
• The supplying company shall bear full maintenance responsibility for one year from the date of receipt.
• The company shall install the devices in hospitals and ensure full operational readiness.
• Provision of practical training for medical and technical staff on operation and maintenance.
• Provision of continuous technical support within Iraq, including response to malfunctions, spare parts supply, and technical follow-up during the warranty period.
• Submission of copies of accredited quality certificates for medical devices (if available).

Submission Method:

Applicants who possess the required qualifications and competence are invited to submit their bids in accordance with the following terms and conditions:

• Submission of financial and technical offers shall commence at 9:00 AM on Sunday, 22/02/2026, and continue until 4:00 PM on Sunday, 01/03/2026.
• All bids shall remain valid for 60 days from the tender closing date.
• All submitted documents must be signed and stamped on every page before being deposited in the tender box.
• All bids must be deposited in the designated tender box at the Association’s headquarters located at:
  Baghdad Governorate / Al-Mansour / Neighborhood 609 / Alley 3 / House No. 38.
• Bidders may also submit their offers electronically via email as an alternative to delivering them to the organization’s headquarters. Email: info@uimsiraq.org
• The bidder’s name, the name of the person submitting the bid, the date of submission, and signature must be recorded in the form prepared for this purpose, which will be placed near the tender box.
• All offers must be submitted in Iraqi Dinar (IQD).
• Any bid containing arithmetical errors in quantities or prices will be rejected. Erasures or corrections are not permitted and will result in disqualification.
• Bids that do not comply with the attached specifications will be excluded.
• All bids must be submitted in sealed and stamped envelopes, clearly marked with the tender name and number.
• The supplier must submit official company documents (Registration Certificate) prior to signing the contract.
• Payments will be made to the winning supplier after completion of delivery and in accordance with the agreed contractual terms under the signed contract.
• The supplier must comply with the contractual terms and required specifications of materials or services; otherwise, the bid will be rejected in full.
• The bidder must clearly state their full name, contact details (phone and email), and the full official address of their headquarters.
• The tender will close at 4:00 PM on Sunday, 01/03/2026, and no bids will be accepted after this time.
• Bids will be opened by a committee formed by the organization through administrative orders at 10:00 AM on the day following the closing date. If that day falls on an official holiday, the opening will take place on the next official working day.
• The contracting authority is not obligated to accept the lowest bid.
• The winning bidder shall bear all publication and advertisement costs for the final tender announcement.
