The representative of the United Nations Population Fund in Iraq visits the Organization of the United Iraqi Medical Society

The representative of the United Nations Population Fund in Iraq, Dr. Rita Columbia, visited the headquarters of the United Iraqi Medical Society for Relief and Development in Baghdad on Thursday 29/7/2021 and was welcomed by Dr. Ahmed Mushrrif Al-Heety, President of the United Iraqi Medical Society for Relief and Development and all the managers of the organization’s departments, where Dr. Al-Heety welcomed Dr. Columbia and all the visitors accompanying her. The partnership between our organization and the UNFPA since 2016 until now was reviewed and the extent of the importance of the programs that serve the Iraqi citizen in the health, development and youth aspects. The awareness campaigns carried out by the organization to take the Corona vaccine and its mechanism of work were discussed. For her part, Dr. Rita Colombia thanked Dr. Rita Columbia The organization welcomed and welcomed and added that awareness campaigns to take the Corona vaccine are very important for the family with the help of community leaders who have an important role in social media and the Ministry of Health, which creates a sense of responsibility for the citizen and the importance of taking the vaccine to prevent the Corona virus, as was discussed about future plans for joint action in Multiple programs.
