The United Iraqi Medical Society for Relief and Development Holds Two Central Meetings to Strengthen the Implementation of the Returnee Support Project within the National Referral Program

As part of the National Referral Program and its ongoing efforts to implement the comprehensive support project for the reintegration of Iraqi returnees from abroad, the Iraqi Medical Association for Relief and Development held two central meetings to monitor and coordinate the stages of this vital project.
The first meeting was held in Baghdad, with the participation of representatives from the Office of the Minister of Migration and Displacement – Organizations Affairs Department, and the National Referral Mechanism Office. The discussions focused on enhancing joint coordination and accelerating implementation mechanisms to ensure a more effective response to the needs of returnees.
The second meeting took place in Basra Province, with the attendance of teams from the Ministry of Migration and Displacement in the southern governorates, as well as representatives of the National Referral Mechanism Office. Discussions centered on supporting the implementation of the project in southern Iraq and providing the best possible services to the targeted groups, particularly in the psychological, social, and economic domains.
Through these meetings, the Association reaffirms its commitment to strengthening national partnerships and continuing to provide comprehensive services that facilitate the reintegration of returnees and empower them to build stable and secure lives.
