Specialized Mental and Psychological Health Sessions

As part of the National Referral Program, and under the supervision of the Joint Crisis Coordination Center (JCC) of the Kurdistan Regional Government, the United Iraqi Medical Society for Relief and Development(UIMS), in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), conducted a series of psychological awareness sessions in the governorates of Erbil and Sulaymaniyah. These sessions were delivered by specialized trainers in the field of mental health.

🎯 Objectives of the Sessions:

• Raising psychological awareness among returnees.
• Reducing manifestations of social anxiety.
• Enhancing positive participation in the community integration process.

These activities come as part of ongoing efforts to support returnees and enable them to regain their psychological and social balance, contributing to their stability and integration within the community.
