Ongoing Male and Female Hairdressing Courses to Support the Professional Development of Returnees

Training activities for male and female hairdressing continue in several designated centers, aiming to empower returnees from abroad and open new opportunities for them in the job market.

These courses fall within the National Referral Program of the Ministry of Migration and Displacement, supported by the United Iraqi Medical Society for Relief and Development (UIMS), and in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

The training programs focus on equipping participants with essential and advanced professional skills in hairdressing, helping enhance their chances of obtaining independent employment or integrating into the local labor market. This contributes to their journey toward self-reliance and achieving social and economic stability.
