Official Visit to Strengthen Joint CooperationPresident of the United Iraqi Medical Society for Relief and Development Visits the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
As part of efforts to enhance strategic partnership and activate joint cooperation, the President of the United Iraqi Medical Society for Relief and Development (UIMS), Dr. Ahmed Al-Heeti, conducted an official visit to the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) in Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The visit aimed to strengthen bilateral relations between the two sides and to discuss ways to support and develop ongoing humanitarian projects in Iraq—chief among them the “Their Heartbeat, Our Hope” health project and the Water Purification Stations Initiative dedicated to healthcare institutions in Baghdad, which seeks to improve medical and environmental services in targeted areas.
During the visit, Dr. Al-Heeti met with a number of KSrelief officials, where they reviewed the outcomes of implemented projects and discussed mechanisms to enhance humanitarian and developmental impact, as well as expand cooperation in the fields of health, education, protection, and empowerment.
UIMS affirms that this visit marks an important milestone in the journey of joint humanitarian work and reflects the strong fraternal ties and regional coordination aimed at supporting affected communities and alleviating their suffering.
