Job Title: Community Mobilizer (Male/Female) – Reproductive Health and Family Planning Awareness
Location: Governorates (Baghdad, Karbala, Kirkuk, Nineveh)
Reports to: Project Manager
Contract Type: Part-time (1 day per week, 3 hours)
Overall Objective of the Position:
The Community Mobilizer is responsible for implementing health awareness activities related to reproductive health and family planning within the targeted communities, in coordination with health centers in the targeted areas. The aim is to raise awareness, promote healthy behaviors, and ensure outreach to the most vulnerable groups.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize individual and group awareness sessions on reproductive health and family planning topics.
- Build positive relationships with community members and local leaders to ensure acceptance of awareness messages.
- Provide accurate and reliable information on reproductive health services and available family planning methods.
- Identify cases requiring referral to health centers and follow up as needed.
- Collect field data, document daily activities, and submit regular reports to the direct supervisor.
- Participate in community awareness campaigns, workshops, and other field activities.
- Adhere to humanitarian principles and respect the cultural and social norms of the targeted community.
