As part of the “Comprehensive Support for Returnees from Abroad” project, and with support from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and under the supervision of the Ministry of Migration and Displacement, the Iraqi Unified Medical Society continues to implement training activities within its peer education program in Basra Governorate.

During May, the Society conducted a series of training courses targeting beneficiaries referred through the National Referral Program, in coordination with the Basra branch of the Ministry of Migration and Displacement.

This activity aims to support the mental health of returnees, contributing to their social integration, building their self-reliance, and enabling them to adapt positively to their new environment.
