Youth projects for the United Nations Population Fund- UNFPA

With the support of the United Nations Population Fund and the Funding of the Canadian Government, the United Iraqi Medical Society for Relief and Development UIMS has begun sewing face masks in its centers, which are funded by UNFPA. More than 12,000 face masks have been distributed to citizens, health centers, elder’s homes, and security forces for the period from June 1st, 2020 to July 16th, 2020, in cooperation with the network of peers in the provinces (Baghdad, Diyala, Anbar, Najaf, and Basra) with distributing many brochures to raise awareness of the methods of prevention against COVID-19.
