Implementation of a national project to equip households with solar panels for clean energy electricity generation.

As part of an initiative launched by the Central Bank of Iraq in cooperation with the Ministry of Electricity, the United Iraqi Medical Society for Relief and Development (UIMS), through its “Iraq Green” initiative, will implement a national project to equip households with solar power systems to generate clean electricity.

The project targets approximately 6,000 homes, distributed equally across the governorates of Baghdad, Anbar, and Nineveh, using a simplified installment plan spanning seven years, and in direct coordination with the relevant local authorities.

This project is part of UIMS’s ongoing efforts to promote environmental sustainability and improve the quality of life for citizens through safe and alternative energy solutions.
