Signing an agreement between the Japanese Embassy and the United Iraqi Medical Society
On Wednesday,8/3/2023 at the headquarters of the Japanese Embassy in Baghdad, a signing ceremony was held for a financial grant provided by the Japanese government to equip Al-Qaim General Hospital in Anbar Governorate with incubators.
The agreement was signed between the president of UIMS, Dr. Ahmed Mushrrif Al-Heeti, and the Chargé d’Affaires of the Japanese Embassy in Iraq, Kenichi Masamoto, in the presence of a number of representatives of Anbar Governorate, the director of Al-Qaim Hospital, and a number of journalists and media.
Al-Heeti expressed his gratitude for the continuous Japanese support for health projects in Iraq, stressing that “this is the fourth time that he has come to the embassy to sign aid grants for Iraq.”
In his speech, Masamoto stated that this grant will provide a better life for the people of Al-Qaim, especially since it is the only hospital in the region, by providing modern medical devices and equipment for treating newborns and others.
