UIMS operates EPI Section at Al-Fallujah

Funded by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the managed by United Iraqi Medical Society for Relief and Development (UIMS), the work in the EPI Section have been started officially in both Al-Salam and Al-Rayan PHCCs in Ameriyat al-Fallujah and in Al-Habbaniya respectively, where those sections are responsible for the assessment and diagnosis of Malnutrition cases among the children in addition to follow up of the vaccination programs according to MOH guidelines.

UIMS in cooperation with UNICEF is plan to expand this work in more areas in Anbar to help as many as children in need.
